We are sharing some training footage for your enjoyment and to provide an example of typical Bouvier pup’s first sheep experience. The sheep used are heavy wool types. These old sheep have started many puppies and are very safe. They won’t fight a puppy and the wool is heavy enough that those sharp puppy teeth never touch skin. The wool pulling is typical of puppies.

We want dogs that show no inhibitions about biting. Teeth and “presence” are the upright stock dog’s primary tools for managing livestock on a daily basis. Removing either tool renders a dog useless for my purposes so all my pups are encouraged to bite from day one.

Enjoy
